Flappy Bird Dead, Last Chance to Download is Over and More

First point: I know this post is late.

Anyways, Flappy Bird now is off the App Store and Play Store. The creator said on his Twitter that people are overusing his app, plus he can’t deal with the stress of having a popular app (on top of that, he isn’t selling the rights to the app).

He was making around $50,000 everyday from the money from the ads. WHO. WOULD. NOT. WANT. THAT. (Apparently a certain Asian developer who only wants to make indie games*)

I expect it to be available on the Cydia store(for jail broken Apple products) soon. But if you are an Android user? Rejoice! You can easily find an APK file for Flappy Bird and install it on your device(just allow app installations from sources other than the Play Store- and turn off the option after you are done).

And..don’t sell your devices with Flappy Bird on eBay. It goes against their policy, since you have to factory reset your devices before selling it on eBay. But so far, you can sell it on Amazon. There are currently devices on Amazon that have Flappy Bird and selling for hundreds to thousands of dollars. See the listings here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=flappy%20bird%20installed

By the way..the creator of the app DID NOT commit suicide. That’s just a hoax. http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/538087/20140211/flappy-bird-dong-nguyen-suicide-hoax-app.htm

*Indie games are those that are small and unpopular. I think that was the definition..someone correct me if I’m wrong.
